Challenge for myself: Make It!
Lately, I've been motivated to think twice before I buy something I don't really need. Partly out of a desire to save money, and partly because I read this book and was inspired to not spend money without thinking. SO, my challenge to myself is, whenever I want something, to first figure out if I can improvise something, make something, etc. I'm not the greatest at sewing, but I know enough to get the job done. First up: a toddler-size backpack. I just can't spend $20 on something my toddler might not even like, might drag through the dirt, or lose. Especially when I have a gazillion bags, etc. that could be altered. I LOVE this one.
I've also been looking off and on for some storage bins to fit in a very specific space in my home. They don't seem to exist anywhere, so I just might make those, too! I'll post when (if?) completed.
