Scissors + Paper = Fun

I'm not the type of person who keeps on top of household cleaning tasks, like vacuuming. Far from it. So when I was trying to come up with a fun activity for my 4-year-old during the baby's morning nap, I remembered how much he loves to cut paper...
First, he picked out some colors of construction paper. Then I drew some shapes with a Sharpie (also his requests...in addition to the typical shapes, he asked for hexagons, octagons/stop signs, and drawings of the Earth).

He sat on the floor and cut out shapes, and then chopped the remaining paper into tiny bits. And loved every minute of it.

It will require some clean-up, but I needed to vacuum the rug anyway. Badly.
